    Hi Debbie,
    Welcome. To answer your email some of the things that help me stay on a fast is to make sure I always have fresh juice if I go out. The enema reduces hunger. I mark a calender with and x for every day I succeed. I also pomp myself up on the benefits of fasting and why I am fasting.

    Debbie, I do the same. When I am fasting I spend a lot of time on the internet (time that I normally might spend eating!) researching various subjects that has to do with health. Oftentimes while I am reading something I will come across another topic of interest and so it goes, on and on. I did not realize how much I was growing in knowledge about the body and substances that provide nourishment for growth until I was asked by someone at work a question concerning exercise and dieting. Although I am only BEGINNING to learn about these things I found myself able to say quite a lot and the person thanked me for it.

    If knowledge is truly power than learning more about fasting and the many benefits it brings to us would be a great help to us in our fasting. Think also about those around us, our family and friends who have yet to take control of their health. By letting them see what can be achieved by living a healthy lifestyle that will come to us with questions and we can help them.
