Fasting for Knee Injuries

Hi!
My father, age 60, has recently torn something in his knee and is planning to have surgery performed on it soon. I was curious to know if fasting could heal such an injury, and if it would be safe to undergo a fast at this age.
Thank you for all your help!

Hi

Fasting helps reduce inflammation and pain caused by any joint or tendon damage.  Juice fasting is also the best way to prepare the body for surgery and post surgery to speed recovery. I fasted through 2 major surgeries and the pain was greatly reduced and recovered very quickly.  With some injury fasting can totally heal and with other damage the pain, and inflammation are reduces but it does not heal. One way or another fasting is good for knee injuries at any age.
