Hi everyone. I am a 21 year old female, 5ft 7in and 130lbs. I started my 1st day of fasting today and stumbled across this website. think its amazing that you all support each other and share daily blogs. Today iv only had tea and coffee because well i just dont think i could manage without my caffeine but today was rly just to see how i went. The reason for me trying fasting is to try and cleanse my body of toxins and to just start all over with my metabolism. The only thing I’m really worried about is that I’m training for the navy which means I try and do a lot of exercise and I’m hoping this fasting doesnt effect my levels of energy too much. I’m also really worried about it making my metabolism even worse but the fact of my body having no carbs, fats to burn and its only option is to burn body fat, makes complete sense to me…this is how it works right? I haven’t tried the juice making yet but I should think this is probably best for someone who does a lot of exercise right? My aim is to get rid of as much body fat as possible and to replace it with muscle. Hope you guys can give me a lil advice
My first advice is buy a juicer. We cannot support people who do not want to do something safe and healthy. Slow down and read. Understand that fasting is a science and when you drink tea and coffee all day that is not a healing program. I used to drink nothing but beer all day when I was young but that was certainly not a health program.
