  • Doing 21 days of Juice Fasting. Starting March 12, 2012

  • Reasons for Fasting:
    I have inflammation in my knee from tendonitis and have been recently diagnose with spondylosis and can not exercise so that leaves me gaining weight and a tad depress about it all. I have chronic pain and painkillers do not cut it anymore. Frankly I worry about my liver when I take too much of those store bought painkillers for too long. I have to see a physical therapist in two weeks for my back and knee pain and I want to see if juicing /smoothies will help me feel better.

  • Past Fasting Experience:
    I’ve had been 100% raw for 30 days before and felt great. I have water fast for 3 days once and felt great doing it but could never accomplish that again. I've completed 7 days on the master cleanse diet until my arm continue to go numb during the night. Ihave tried to juice fast on this site back in 2010 and only lasted a few days. I plan to go all the way this time with the aid of smoothies when I am stressed and at work. Today , is the 5th day since starting and I am already physically feeling better along with feeling mentally crabby from not chewing anything, hah.

  • Present Diet:
    Before this week I've been drinking one or two green smoothies a day and eating fruit, veggies and meat. My problem was that I overdose at night when I clearly was not hungry on cookies, crackers, and granola. Too much of anything isnt' good.

  • Supplements:
    Vitimans when needed

  • Relevant Medical History:
    tendonitis spondylosis

  • State of Mind:
    pretty darn good

  • Limitations:
    Mental weakness
