  • Doing 10 days of Juice/Water Fasting. Starting May 11, 2011

  • Reasons for Fasting:
    To get my body back in shape, to get some control on my overeating / emotional a lot of people once I start eating I can't stop and will overeat anything whether I am hungry or not. The worst for me is at nights. And Ofcourse feeding time for kids and husband..

  • Past Fasting Experience:
    The longest I've juice fasted was 6 days twice last year. My problem is breaking the fast. The last 6 day juice fast I lost 10 lbs but gained it all back and 10 more lbs on top of that in 3 months.. I've tried eat stop eat as well. So I am attempting to go my longest of 10 days and break my fast the right way.

  • Present Diet:
    Anything goes.. Just a lot of everything. My problem is I can eat healthy, but I will overstuff myself with "healthy" foods like quineoua, brown rice, whole grains with anything like vegetables and lean meat. This would be a nice way of eating if I can control the portions...

    Well I am hopeful. When I get hungry or demotivated I just come to this forum for thank you!!

  • Limitations:
    My own self control. Also I work at an environment where there's plenty of catered foods all the time, so I am around good food constantly.

  • Questions:
    Any tips on breaking the fast will be very appreciated.. And if anyone would like to join me in my fasting journey??
