Thanks Vincent, I’m hanging in there.
We’re expecting bad weather so I bought some tomato juice and apple juice just in case I decide to switch to juice. Today is Day 8 of my water fast and I’m not feeling that great, I’m tired and cranky and my mind keeps thinking of food.

  5. iamacamera says:

Okay. I just added 8 oz of unsweetened apple juice to a quart of water. I will sip on this through the evening. Tomorrow I will add more juice and on the 10th day I will have apple juice and tomato juice.

    Hi iamacamera

It must have been hard for you trying to resist the temptations. I am also in these phase were i keep on having these images of food in my mind, and my stomach which is so used to having these stuffy feeling, is crying out for food. But I am focusing on the light feeling, the clarity of mind, and it seemed that ignoring my body’s craving allowed me to have and focus on my spiritual growth. Maybe it might help control the cranky feeling you if you try to get a lot of sunlight, Vitamin D,helps to stabilize the mood, one of the reasons why others feel lonely during winter. Breaking a habit is hard, and very challenging, I admire you for your strength of will. It will pay off. We all need to cultivate our spirit for it feeds our soul. I wish you all the best , hope it helps.

    Best,
    Feda
