  • Doing 30 days of Juice/Water Fasting. Starting September 12, 2011

  • Reasons for Fasting:
    I want to improve my health and my mood.

  • Past Fasting Experience:
    I would make it to day 14, but could never go any further. After having children I can barely make it to day 5, temptation is everywhere!

  • Present Diet:
    I hate to quote Austin Powers, but right now, I eat because I'm unhappy I'm unhappy because I eat. I constantly consume any and everything, and I feel worst and worst by the day.

  • Supplements:
    I have a lot of supplements, but I'm not sure if I should take them. Cayenne pepper, cinnamon, chromium, to name a few I was talking them but stopped a while ago.

  • Present Medication or Drug Usage:
    none

  • State of Mind:
    I get depressed from time to time mostly because of my weight

  • Limitations:
    None that I know of or would believe in.

  • Questions:
    I now know I need help and I hope that being apart of a group will help guide me. I''m reading as much as I can on this site to keep the hunger and fear away.

    Maybe its crazy, but I feel a lot clearer this is the start of day four and I feel lighter, dancing around the house like I use to my babies are laughing and looking at me like YEAH, but thats babies any time for play is a time that they love. I like this new feeling. I must keep it up, I must keep going. Gotta keep the faith lol

    Hello HKali, I started this months fast the 12th also. I usually fast one week per month. Also 30-40 days once a year, and one day per week. This is a good way to stay close to fasting and it’s healing and spiritual power!

    Most likely, you have only made it to day 14 in the past because your fat reserves were providing enough to keep you going physically. It sounds like you have prepared yourself for the long run this time. Enemas are important to get the toxins and waste out. It will also help with hunger pangs.

    Try to keep veggie juices in your plans. Some fruits like bananas will slow down your weight loss and detoxing. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Happy Fasting! And Good Luck! Ron

    Thank you Ron! I appreciate the encouragement! It is day 7 and I’m still alive. I actually got a night off from the twins so that meant no cooking YA! I also have sooo much energy, I have cleaned my entire house in one night, adding to my exercise. I hope I can keep the momentum.

    Ok its day 14 and I AM STARVING! I don’t know why I’m so hungry, the apple cider vinegar was helping but it burns my throat (I prefer to take it like a shot and not in something else it stops me from being hungry on contact) and I know I need to use the enemas, but what else can I do? think I’m being tested lol. I will keep the faith, and not loose sight of the goal, 30 days I can do it! I’ve heard that red pepper cayanne pills work too, but would that be cheating since I’m taking in something other than water and juice?

    Try some honey and water mixed w/ your acv! It tastes great and doesn’t burn! Herbal teas help too! Forget the cayenne pills. You don’t need them. And pleas use the enemas! The toxins are built up in the intestines. You will feel wonderful after a few! Ron
